Who we are

Mark Potts, Principal - Tampa, FL

Mark provides analytical & quantitative support for the PFPA team and sales coverage for our banking partners in the mid-West and southwest region of the country.

With over 13 years of combined experience in mortgage portfolio analysis, loan & securities trading and interest rate derivatives, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the sales & origination process.

Prior to joining PFPA, Mark held positions with First National Bank of Omaha, Morgan Keegan & Co, First Tennessee and Commercial Federal Bank.

Mark earned his BSBA in Accounting from the University of Nebraska.

Evan Roberts, Principal - Birmingham, AL

Evan provides internal credit and documentation support for PFPA, as well as, sales coverage for our southern and southeast banking partners.

Evan's 24 years of work experience with AmSouth Bank span all aspects their business.  He started his career in strategic planning, focusing on M&A, including target analysis, merger modeling & transaction structuring, anti-trust analysis and accounting treatment

He served as product manager for the bank's commercial loan platform - designing and implementing their Commercial Relationship Profitability model, which allowed the bank analyze the profitability of specific loans, as well as, overall relationship returns.  He has a solid background related loan documentation, accounting and regulatory issues.  He designed the bank's Pipeline Tracking model, which assessed the bank's cross selling initiatives across all products.

Evan started AmSouth's corporate derivatives business and the bank's commercial loan conduit programs, both of which were later folded into the Corporate Finance Services Group.  He has extensive experience working with larger middle market clients and actively involved in all aspects of the business, including sales, structuring, accounting, trading and back office processes. 

Evan earned his BA from Kenyon College and his MBA from University of Virgina.
