In today's market environment, properly identifying, quantifying these risks is essential. Using sophisticated modeling, PFPA can quantify the risk associated with each individual transaction, enabling your credit team to properly underwrite and track credit exposure over the life of the transaction.
Marketing & Sales
With any business endeavor there needs to be an effective, proactive sales strategy in place to make sure that products and services are delivered in a manner providing consistency & quality. PFPA is committed to providing dedicated, one on one, in-market resources. We work as your "product specialist" for marketing interest rate protection products to your clients. This approach provides you with a focused and deliberate process. It also allows the bank's Relationship Managers to manage the client relationship, while we provide the specialized product knowledge to ensure a successful sale. On-line file sharing allows your team to access presentations, market updates, calling notes and review documentation.
Pricing, Structuring & Market Updates
Education is the cornerstone of our marketing approach. PFPA provides detailed product and sales training for your Relationship Managers. Reviewing the mechanics and application of these products is fundamental in order for clients and lenders to understand the benefits and potential pitfalls. Our ongoing sales and marketing effort enables us to work closely with your teammates to identify prospects and jointly work towards a successful sale. Our goal is to provide complete transparency, so that you and your clients can make balanced and informed decisions.
Internal Policies & Procedures
We work closely with your bank's key areas (Line of Business, Credit Administration, Loan Operations and Administration, Audit, Finance & Treasury) to create a set of internal policies, procedures and guidelines. This provides the internal framework to build a disciplined, well-structured and well-documented sales process.
Over the life of the transaction, PFPA will provide on-going servicing to the bank that will include monthly reports needed by the bank's financial reporting area.
Documentation
The sale of any product by the bank requires clear and explicit documentation. PFPA, working in conjunction with the Relationship Manager and Closing Attorney, will generate all required documentation for the swap, including the ISDA Master Agreement and Schedule, Swap Confirmation and other documents necessary to ensure that each transaction is fully documented.
